Every owner knows the moment. Half four in November, you unclip the lead, he's gone in three strides — and for the next twenty seconds you're just standing there listening.

The Obsidia collar is a flat fibre band that glows along its full length. Not a blinking dot on a buckle — a continuous line of light, so what you're following across a dark field still reads as a dog.

Three modes on one switch: constant glow, slow pulse, fast flash. Two collars in every box — because most people have two dogs, and everyone eventually loses one.

Five colours

Orange, red, blue, green and yellow. The webbing and the light are always the same colour, so what you see in daylight is what you'll follow in the dark.

Orange and red carry furthest in low light and hold up best against wet grass and bare trees. Blue and green read cleanest against snow and frost. Yellow is the most visible to drivers at dusk.

Measure the neck, leave room for two fingers. Between sizes, go up.

Safety

Contains CR2016 button batteries. Keep away from children and pets — button batteries cause serious internal injury if swallowed. Check the battery compartment is closed before each use.
